Easily the best thing i could have got for my pet. Comfortable and super luxurious. The packaging of the product was good as well. Team was responsive on email as delivery got delayed slightly.

Measure your back seat from door to door. Most are about 140 cm. Under 120 cm? Choose Plus or smaller — Grand needs the whole bench.

Who it fits
One big dog. Or two, together.
120 cm long and 42 cm deep, with the front panel unzipping to open out longer still. Room for a labrador to stretch flat, or for two dogs to travel alongside each other.
1One big dog
120 cm of bed
A big dog doesn't curl into a ball. He goes down on his side with his legs out and takes the whole length. Almost nothing in a car lets him do that. This does, the whole way there.
2Or two, together
Side by side
Two dogs who travel better in sight of each other, lying alongside rather than one climbing over the other at every roundabout.
Measure your dog lying on his side, nose to the base of the tail, and compare it against the cushion length.
The difference
You would never put your children in the boot.
Not the tallest one. Not the heaviest one. Size was never the reason — so why him?
120 cm — down flat on his side
Curled against a wheel arch
Up on the seat, with a view and with you
Behind a barrier, seeing nothing
Settles once and stays settled
Back on his feet at every corner
Bolstered walls on three sides to lean into
Nothing to lean on but the wheel arch
Strapped to the seat backs, gripping the bench
Nothing holding anything
Waterproof leather — wet dog, wipe and go
Wet fur soaked into the boot carpet

A comfortable, contained place to travel — not a crash-tested restraint. Always clip your dog to a proper car harness, never to a collar.

01 — The length
Big dogs sleep flat out
Small dogs curl up. Big dogs don't — they go down on their side, legs straight, and take the whole length of whatever they're on. At 120 cm he can finally do that in the car, and the front panel unzips to open it out longer still.

02 — The surface
Waterproof one side, plush the other
Coated, waterproof faux leather for muddy paws, wet fur and the drive home from the beach — wipe it and it's done. Turn the mat over in winter and he's on plush instead.

03 — The seat
It stays where you put it
Straps loop over the seat backs and a non-slip base grips the bench, so it isn't sliding about behind you. Walls on three sides give him something to brace against instead of a flat floor that slides away at every junction.
Fitting it
On in under a minute
Straps over the seat backs and a non-slip base do the holding. No tools, nothing to unbolt, and it lifts straight back out when you need the seat.
1
Lay it flat across the seat
Sit it centrally on the back bench with the tall side against the seat back. It spans a standard bench end to end, so it lies flat rather than bridging a gap — which is the whole reason a big dog can go down on his side in it.
2
Loop the straps over the seats
Take the straps over the seat backs and pull the webbing through the adjusters until the bed sits snug against the seat and stops shifting forward.
3
Run a safety rope through
The Velcro opening inside the bed lets a safety rope clip straight through to your dog's harness — never a collar. He travels settled in his own place instead of moving around the car behind you, and you are not turning round at 60 to see where he has got to. Ropes sold separately.
4
Let him try it at home first
Put it down indoors for a few days with something of his in it. Dogs take to it far faster when the car isn't the first place they meet it.
Two zips run across the front panel. Open them and the bed extends forward into a larger, flatter space for him to stretch right out — at the campsite, in the hotel room, or in front of the fire at home. Always clip a safety rope to a proper car harness, never to a collar.
Questions, answered
Which size do I need?
Measure your dog lying on his side, nose to the base of the tail. The Grand Voyage (120 cm) is for dogs from 25 kg up to 60 kg and up to 110 cm long: labradors, goldens, German shepherds, boxers, greyhounds. For a 15–25 kg dog — a springer, a cocker, a collie — the Voyage Plus (90 cm) is the better fit and leaves a seat free.
Will it fit my car?
It's 120 × 42 × 45 cm and spans a standard back bench end to end in most estates, SUVs and dual-cabs. For a smaller car, or if you want to keep a seat free, see the Voyage Plus (90 cm). Straps loop over the seat backs and the base grips the seat fabric — nothing needs unbolting and it lifts straight back out.
Is it genuinely big enough for a labrador?
Yes — that is what it is for. Most car beds sold as “large” are 70 to 80 cm, which is enough for a dog to sit on but not to lie out on. At 120 cm a labrador can go down on his side with his legs straight, and two zips across the front open the bed out further still.
Can two dogs travel in it?
Two dogs fit side by side rather than one climbing over the other. Measure them both lying on their sides and add the two lengths together — if that comes to more than 120 cm, they will travel better in one bed each. For two small dogs up to 10 kg each, the Voyage Plus is enough.
What comes in the box?
The bed itself with its zip-off cover, and the straps that loop over the seat backs. Inside there is a Velcro opening that a safety rope clips through to your dog’s harness — ropes are sold separately.
Is it waterproof?
The faux leather outer is waterproof and wipes clean, so rain, mud, drool and a spilt water bowl stay on the surface. The plush side is soft fabric — on a really wet day, use the leather side up.
How do I clean it?
The faux leather side is waterproof, so muddy paws and wet fur wipe straight off with a damp cloth. The cover unzips and comes off to be washed following the care label sewn into it. Hair lifts off the leather with a cloth or a handheld vacuum.
Does it slide about?
The base is non-slip and grips the seat fabric, and the straps over the seat backs take up the rest. The bed also spans the full width of the bench, so there is nowhere for it to travel. On very slippery leather seats, pull the straps tighter rather than leaving slack.
Do I still need a harness?
The Highway Code, Rule 57, asks that dogs be suitably restrained in a moving vehicle, and a harness is the usual way to do that. The Grand Voyage gives your dog a deep, contained place of his own to travel in rather than the open boot — but it is a bed, not a crash-tested restraint, and we don’t sell it as one. If you attach a safety tether, clip it to a proper car harness, never to a collar.
What is the difference between this and the Voyage Plus?
Same build, same waterproof faux leather. The Voyage Plus is 90 cm, for one dog of 15–25 kg or two small dogs up to 10 kg each, and leaves a seat free. The Grand Voyage is 120 cm and spans the whole bench, for dogs over 25 kg, long breeds, or two bigger dogs together.
Can I put it in the boot instead?
You can, and it works there. But the whole reason we made it is that a big dog doesn’t have to travel in the boot. On the back seat he can see you, and you are not turning round at 60 to check on him.
What if it isn’t right for my dog?
You have 14 days from delivery to send it back — if your dog doesn’t take to it, that’s reason enough. Email hello@pawcify.co.uk and we’ll send you return instructions within one working day.
