I absolutely love this dog seat cover; it is of great quality, suits my car's interior, and is safe for dogs, with no more sliding into the footwell as it has a hard plastic base for their comfort.
The Journey anchors to the front and rear headrests and bridges the footwell, turning the whole back seat into one flat, covered platform.
Cars & hatchbacks
Fits a standard bench back seat
SUVs, estates & 4×4s
Covers the full width, footwells included
Bucket-style rear seats are fine — the hard base spans the dip in the middle.

01 — Hard bottom
A rigid base underneath holds the surface flat, so your dog stands on something solid instead of sinking into sagging fabric.

02 — Safety
Built-in belt openings let a proper harness tether pass straight through. The Highway Code says dogs must be suitably restrained in a car — this gives you the anchor point.

03 — After the walk
Waterproof 600D Oxford. Wet fur, mud and gritty paws stay on the surface — a damp cloth, and it's ready for the next one.

Step 1
Loop the two straps around the rear headrest posts and clip them shut. The top of the cover is held in place.
Step 2
Run the front straps up to the front seat headrests. The cover now spans the whole bench and bridges the footwell.
Step 3
Let the footwell panel fall into place and press the base flat, edge to edge, right down to the door sill.
Step 4
One flat, covered surface, wall to wall — and it lifts straight back out whenever you need the seat.
Always secure your dog with a proper car harness clipped to a seat belt — never to a collar.
The difference
A flat floor, end to end
A dip they keep sliding into
Seat backs stay scratch-free
Claw marks down the upholstery
Lies down and stays down
Back on their feet at every bend

It anchors to the front and rear headrests and sits across the whole back bench, so it works in most saloons, hatchbacks, estates and SUVs. Bucket-style rear seats are fine too — the hard base spans the dip in the middle.
Most covers are a hammock: your dog stands on fabric that gives way under their paws. The Journey has a rigid base underneath, so the surface stays flat and level. Dogs who scrabble for grip on the way to the vet tend to settle a lot faster on a floor that doesn't move.
Up to 130kg (280lb) — a large dog with room to spare, or two mediums side by side.
Yes. The 600D Oxford top layer is waterproof, so mud, wet fur and the occasional accident stay on the cover and off your upholstery. Wipe it down with a damp cloth.
Yes — part of the cover folds back so you can free up a seat and keep your dog on the other side.
Yes. The Journey keeps your dog on one flat, contained surface, but it isn't a restraint. Use a proper car harness clipped to a seat belt — never to a collar.
